Gordana Lozo is a Lozo Web Design IT support and web developer.
Her expertise is:
Using graphical design principles, computer programming skills, and
database knowledge and expertise to design and develop graphical user
interfaces, web pages and applications, software programs, and search engine optimization. Developing
pages using Dreamweaver, but also expert in Front Page and SharePoint Designer. Using JavaScript and ASP to make websites interactive,
as well as Flash in creating different kind of effects on the websites. Creating
newsletters and sending them using custom developed process. Using graphic
tools like Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Adobe ImageReady for design of
the websites and develop and prepare pictures and photos for the web.
Using client management tools to develop websites and provide training
to clients how to use them.
Gordana
arrived in the United States in July 2001 from Yugoslavia. In Yugoslavia,
Gordana
was named "best student of the generation" in both elementary
and high school, which is the highest honor a student can achieve. She
earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with concentrations
in math, industrial engineering and computer engineering from the University
of Belgrade. During her completion of this program, Gordana received
the highest grade of 10 on her final thesis, "Automation of Compensatory
Design Procedure Applying the Method of Geometric Place of Root on a
PC Computer," which discusses a software application Gordana developed
for Mathlab. Gordana also successfully passed the Licensing Examination
in March 1999 given by the Ministry of Building and Construction of
the Republic of Serbia, providing her with the necessary authorization
to plan and design electrical wiring of buildings.
Gordana is also
the Vice President of Technology for ProWIN, a professional women's
networking organization. She has been with ProWIN since its inception,
and she is in charge of designing, creating, and updating the current
website in addition to overseeing all of the technical needs of the
organization.
Gordana is married
to Goran Lozo, International Karate Champion, and they have one daughter,
Sara, who loves swimming and violin. Gordana practiced synchronized swimming
in high school, and continues to enjoy swimming, as well as yoga, playing
tennis, writing poetry, and girl scouting with her daughter. She and
her family reside in the metro Atlanta area.
